Thanks for the bike tire input - I've been a bike rider for over 30 yrs and in the past I used Specialized tires and it's good to hear they are still making good tires. 30 yrs ago there was a limited number of choices in bike equipment, tires for instance were primary 27".
For me today it's confusing and when you ask the guys in the shops the advice differs greatly from one person to the next and changes on any given day. Part of my problem though is shopping at Performance Bike - it's convenient at less than a mile away from me - but the people there are not very knowledgeable, they are way better in the Boulder location.
I did buy a set of Continental Ultra Sport 700 x 25, $ 35 ea, but will use thorn tubes as these have worked well in the past.
