I bought this new 2007 Saab 9-3 Aero with Auto transmission about 4 months ago. From day 1, I noticed a 3 to 4 seconds delay in gear engagement after shifting into either D or R, it slipped somewhere between 2nd, 3rd or 4th and it kicks between 1st and 2nd. With 3 attempts to repair it, even a new transmission was put in, still symptoms persist. One of the dealer foreman even told me "you will get used to it" and refused to check it out further.
It has about 6,500 miles on it now and anyone has such experience with this GM 6-speed auto transmission, please give me your opinion and suggestion. I'm sick of it, wish I had bought it with manual transmission or better yet, a Toyota or Hyundai.
