No need to rush to haste my freind. I'll admit, my expierances with Saab customer service is not as good as I would like. My 03 linear stayed in the shop for a good while when I bought it. I had many trival problems though like sunroof problems, a brakes issue, and a few other minor things. I will say my dealer customer service was great. I was out of pocket no money and they always gave me a pretty much new saab convertable or CTS to drive in the mean time. Also, they done a fantastic job on thier work. If you are trying to get a new car, don't bother fighting with the dealer because they do not really have a say in the argument. You must go through the manufacturer. Before you waste money on an attorney, go to your states lemon law website and read what constitutes a car being a lemon. It is as easy as going to yahoo (or whatever search you prefere) and typing it in on a search. It's pretty much black and white so you should be able to figure out if you have a legitimate case or not. I doubt you will have a case if this is the only problem that you have but all states are different. I'm in Tennessee and for a car to be a lemon here you must has a reoccuring problem of four times or more in the first year of owning it (don't quote me on that). Other states say if your car has been in the shop over a month or something along those lines so it does vary considerable. My advice is to have the dealer put you a new trammy in your car (if under warrenty of course) and go from there. It stinks you purchesed a "bad" car but I have news for you, all cars have problems. My freind had a BMW and the engine blew at 50K. Certinally this does not mean they make bad cars, but every so often you get a bad part. There is no need to swear off Saab's in the future because of one bad expierance but if you feel so strongly about it try other cars out. Even though my car lived in the shop when I first bought it, I felt my service was very professional and I have no complains about the car or company.
