Ok folks need some help I blew my engine in my NG 9-5 less than two weeks ago , it had about 196K on it, so my plan was while searching for a replacement I would drive my 04 9-3 vert ( 100K on it), of course it did not start when I got home but got it started and it ran like crap and the check engine light was blinking, I had it towed to my indie who is not a saab guy but has worked on it and my other Saabs, he said it needed a set of plugs , ok I had an oil change done as well , the car is a summer car so I got an oil change as well while I was there, went to get the car today and left the shop, within 2 miles check engine light comes back on but not blinking, go back to the shop the fix it, I go on my way , have to get the car inspected (NJ) it passes no problem ,car is running great no issues, go to leave , driving uphill the power just dies, clutch chatting, misfire, back to the shop the pop out the new spark plugs ( the correct ones we checked) and one of the plugs tips is broken off, they can not get another set until tomorrow they did a compression test and cylinder 3 has very very low compression. Not sure what my options are, I left the car there , this is the 2 Saab in 10 days I can not drive, so much for my plan to drive it while looking. Any ideas what may have happened? TIA
