Where do you expect to see a seal and what color do you think it would be.
I do not see a seal in the other connector, and it had no corrosion. I have the clam shell off the back and good access to the wire side of the terminal. The area under the clam shell was full of grit (see photo). I suspect the fiber tape at the back where wires exit from the connector were not doing it's job. Thanks again for the help!
