Thanks for all the great input. I went and looked at this car and there is a lot of little things wrong. It is slow cranking and sometimes doesn't start, even with a good battery and connections. Might be no start switch, I don't know. She says she found if if doesn't start, she can turn off the ac and it will??? Check engine light is on - ?? Sounds like the strut bearings are worn. Little burning oil smell from engine. Two windows are not working properly. Headlights are badly hazed over. Tires are over half worn. PCV6 is installed. Otherwise in pretty nice cosmetic condition.
But if I am going to pay for all those parts and do the work, I might as well keep my 9000 going for a while. She's asking $5500 for it, but I don't think I'll get it.
