is the tire wear even, or are the inside edges worse? these easily go out of alignment due to suspension wear...
windows are fairly easy to fix. headlights are also easy to polish out.
does she have records? ie when was pcv#6 done? oil change history? when was the serp belt done? pulleys/tensioner?
you can expect to have to do a few things... that's why the PO is selling it... stuff like window rollers are a nice one: cheap + fairly easy to do, but a real annoyance to a previous owner who can't fix their own car!
that said, if you have a really nice 9000, why not keep it? you won't get much for it to sell + they are really nice cars. a 1998 is still pretty new... I've been through this with the c900s + owning the 9-5 means they don't see as much use as they used to, but I am having no trouble keeping them going - cheaper to repair than the 9-5 and lots of fun to drive.
