Eeuroparts has Osram units for $ 82.30 each, apparently genuine and made in Germany - as identical to my originals as is possible. And they work extremely well.
Why bother with Philips at all? These Osrams come in a Hella box, so they're not sourced through the OEM channels, but the origin going back appears the same.
So, question: does anyone have any evidence there are counterfeit Osrams?
Btw, 2004 9-5, 135,000 miles, I leave the lights on "on" 98% of the time. First time I'm replacing them, this year.
