This ain't gonna be popular here, but I need to say it.
Unless you are looking for something unique like the 9-5 wagon, I would take a pass on these cars. Having had 4 C900 turbos, a 94 900 SE, 00 9-3 SE and now a 04 9-5 Aero sedan, I can say the 95 is my least favorite and rivals the 94 900 SE (new model that year - bad car) for repairs. Right now am trying to find a lasting fix for the poorly designed rear suspension on this car.
I find the Aero seats nice, but that is about it. It rides worse than a Mini Cooper, or a lot like a 1979 Trans Am I once owned. Which would be ok if the car still handled well, but it handles more like a Ford Econoline, and rides like a Mexican school bus.
Plus it has been difficult to get some parts for this car, and the price of parts is going up, as there are fewer parts around. We may be left with salvage yards as a parts source, for anything other than routine maintenance. Drive some other cars before you decide.
A well taken care of Saab can last a long time, but that only means something if you really enjoy the car day in and day out.
