I respectfully disagree on the use of shims to correct camber. It will change it, but ride height and the resulting excess toe-in is the issue.
Ride height is critical on these cars. If the ride height is too low the camber will increase and the toe in will increase. That is the way the rear suspension is designed.
Too much camber is not the cause of cupping. Too much toe-in is the cause.
You have to adjust the ride height to what the WIS says. 610mm in the rear on the Aero, and 620mm for stock springs on 17" wheels. Spacers are the best way to do this. Then had a good 4 wheel alignment done by a good shop. Toe in is quite adjustable at the front of the rear trailing arm.
I have a 1973 911 Porsche that runs 2 degrees of negative camber on very wide rear tires.....yes they wear unevenly side to side, but NEVER and cupping.
