I had the (mistaken) impression that the smaller turbo was a bit less reliable than the larger mitsubishi in the Aeros. But I have an LPT with nearly 200k now and no signs of trouble.
the LPT paired up with a manual is great fun to drive. Quite quick and impressive gas mileage!
