I had a 1995 9-5 and for 12 yrs and now a 2004 9-5, now for 13 yrs.

The 1999 lpt had the original Garrett turbo when I sold it a 170k miles and it was fine.

But I found the lpt lacking in power, especially when you get say 55 mph and need some power to pass and softer suspension than the 2004, if you value performance I'd say go the Mitsu turbo.
