My previous 2000 9-5 Arc wagon is still going at approx 280,000 with a new owner after I took it from 93,000 to 270,000 with regular care. Did plenty to it but it is a GREAT car.
My current 9-5 Linear wagon has gone from 52,000 to 95,000 in the last 12 months.
Have done bushings, a water pump and the regular wear items and its going great. Loving it. The only thing I really still don't like is that it does not have bluetooth and the GM effect. Oh well.

My vote is get that thing!!!
The service history - if it is good - is gold!
Yes stuff goes wrong on these things but it is within a pretty predictable range really.
It can seem like you are doing plenty to them, but when I hear other people talk about what they have go wrong on their cars of other brands I realize how unreasonably bad a name the Saabs have gotten.

Get that car! ..... and let us know how it goes?
