Hmmn...let's see.

1988 SPG with 345K on the odometre and 225K on the drivetrain. She started out as my winter car and ended up as the Queen of the Driveway when my NG barfed up her oil pump. I saved her from being crushed three years ago when she only had 232K on the clock. We've been to Florida and back twice, out to Michigan, down to Charlotte at least a dozen times and back and forth to Pennsylvania regularly. The tinworm is starting to catch up with her, so I'm planning to semi-retire her this winter and the new DD will be......a 1986 900S.

And then there's the '90 Turbo convertible, likewise saved from being sent to that big Saab lot in the sky. I drive her from April until October (she's rust free and I'd like to keep her that way) and she has only about 121K on her. We drive to Florida every spring and fall to visit family.

C900s are better balanced than anything else out there on the road. My SPG is absolutely unstoppable in rotten weather (it snows in New England five months out of the year and six months in some areas) and in snow, sleet, pouring rain and whatever Mother Nature can throw at her, my Saab has never failed me. And you can't beat the cool factor.....an old Saab is way cooler than a new Bimmer.

Beautify America! Drive a C900!
