Dumbest things:
-thinking I could replace my front pads (not rotors, I was way too cheap at 20yrs old) on my 85 900T: Not only could I not retract the calipers, (twisty, and didn't have a press) but the front jacking point collapsed because of rust. I blocked 3 other cars in the driveway with that act.
-Re-routing the heater hose after the heater valve broke: drove th 85 900T for two more years without heat in upstate NY. dumb.
-Thinking I could refinish 16inch AERO rims from a 98 9000 by myself. Still the ugliest things ever, such a bad job.
-Racing a Cadu CTS-V wagon 40 miles down interstate 90 at night in my 92 c900T: a traffic-logic game more than HP, and both of us had a conscience of staying below 120. Torched my catalytic converter wit the turbo oil blow-by.
-Racing myself 100 miles in 1h, 7 minutes down Rte 2 in MA in my 92 c900.
-Stupidest thing: Taking my 17yr-owned 1992 c900T off the road this past November.
