I am although I haven't tried in a couple of months and it's getting cold here in NY.
I've been able to free the 3 nuts and bolts connecting to the exhaust down pipe and the 3 nuts connecting the 90 degree elbow to the turbocharger after using quite a bit of PB Blaster and even a propane torch, but that elbow will not budge from the turbocharger. BTW - the nuts were rusty and the replacement hardware is now stainless steel with anti-size compound so I wouldn't have to go through this again. It's only the bottom stud that's the long one and it looks to be thin so it could break.....I can't pound it.
I've tried the using torch where they meet and tapping it with a rubber mallet (no good) and lightly tapping it with a hammer, but I have a fear of breaking the elbow since it's cast and replacements aren't available. It looks like it 'should' just fall off because anyone else who has gone through this hasn't caused them any grief. I tried a long bar to use as a lever to forcefully push or slide the elbow off, but it simply will not move.
The car has 85,500 miles and was garaged most of its life and although it's 32 years old, I'm certain it's the original O2 sensor; I've owned it for 24 years and it had 39,000 miles when I bought it. The check engine light lights at idle and goes out when it's under acceleration, I figured replacing the sensor are advisable.
