Many and most suggestions are as good as it comes.
If you are in a area with lots of rust, kind of looks like it from your picture, it might be that the long studs are rusted solid through the elbow housing. If so, it might be just about impossible to slide it off. It might not even be enough with heating it up to glowing to free all the rust.
Next would be to hopefully remove the exhaust housing from turbo and maybe work the assembly on the bench.
Sometimes, if I'm lucky, if the O2 sensor have not been in there too long that a perfect socket and long ratchet wrench can break them free in site after battery has been removed but it has been many cases where the O2 sensor came out smearing the threads on the way out and I had to run a tap to clear the hole for the new sensor.
