Seems your solving a problem I dont have, I dont need to replace a joint I just need to replace the Outer CV Boot.
If I understand you right you are pushing the spline end out of the hub by hammering the axle nut, so do you loosen the nut first and remove the circlip? This is the part that confuses me.
On the 900 once I had enough movement of the knuckle, I removed the circlip and the spline came out of the hub with very little effort.
when you hammer what are you actually hitting?
Thanks,
-Esteban
