I too have had a similar experience over there as my wife also drives only Audis. Younger people that seem to have money to pay others to do the work... I have to comment on the Audis though; I saw our old '89 90 tearing through town the other day and found out it now has 300k on the clock. Engine never down, orig. clutch!, very little other stuff. Present '98 A4 at 225k also no problems. I really like my last two Saabs but both suffer from the very picky engine management system that has forced me to ride with a code reader behind the seat and put up with erratic boost. Never had that with the Audis. And, those Audis go like a bastard in the snow!! Forgive me for the rant but I wanted to comment after wrenching on both for quite a few years. I admit, I have the Saab martyr syndrome. I think everyone here does. C.
