You're using the same logic the truckers used in the oil embargo of the 1970s--and that was that semi drivers alleged that they got better mileage at 70 mph than at 55.
It was never proven true.

It doesn't matter where the throttle is positioned in my 'er SAAB's explanation, as long as the 87 car's throttle is at the exact same position as the 93 car's ---all properties hold true.

Don't go off topic--we're not going for a "fuel economy prize". We're scientifically PROVING that this is true.

How does a GM for a local San Diego SAAB dealer--who pays big $$$ to have his own technicians get taught this from SAAB instructors--propose to out guess or know more than these SCUSA instructors?

You have not provided any proof source to support your contention--and your driving your very own company SAAB to your dealership doesn't count.

I have provided proof--I'll say it again------ SAAB CARS USA TECHNICAL instructors TEACH this EVERY DAY!! And have for many many many many years.

SAAB (SWEDEN) engineers who EPA CERTIFY these engines @ Ann Arbor, MI. say the same things.

My local Swedish friend (who works for VOLVO cars) says the same thing as I explain to you.

My neighbor's brother is a GM fuel engineer......agrees.

Get the idea ?
