Drivers in NYC, NJ, CT, and MA are more aggressive, but they are generally more skillful than the drivers down in MD, DC, and VA (especially NoVA).
There is ZERO lane discipline in Northern VA and the DC Beltway, and slow left lane bandits are plentiful. I particularly go crazy driving on the Dulles Toll Road and I-66! PLEASE, slower traffic keep right!!!
At least in NY/NJ/CT/MA, people in the left lane tend to drive like they have someplace to go...
