We're taking the 9-3 out on it's first official road trip (with us, anyway) to Cape May, NJ. I can't wait to see how THOSE drivers are. Oh brother ... tourist spot, finally dry, nice weather, school vacation - this is why when visiting tourist trap areas we try to find hotels within walking distance of all the bars!

I must say, I've been to Mass hundreds of times over the past year & THOSE are drivers are scary! It seems to be common there if you desire to take a left off of any street, to pull out completely into the righthand lane, totally blocking traffic flow in that lane as you wait for the traffic to clear so you can pull out. I guess MA drivers who do this feel they've mastered the technique of taking a left. I've have seen this EVERY time I've ever been to MA and in various locations of the state.

Also, in CT its a law that you must turn your headlights on if your wipers are on.

Know another thing I like? When the car in front of you has a broken tail light & you get to put up with this BRIGHT bulb shining in your eyes with no cover on it. I was behind a car before that had their right turnal signal light stuck on...not flashing, just steady. I think it was a Saturn.

While I'm on a roll, I've also noticed many SUVs & trucks tend to flash their highbeams at me when they're behind me and there's nothing obvious I can see I'm doing to annoy them, my mirror is in the proper position so as not to get them with the glare of their headlights ... I tend to drive a bit faster than I should (esp. in my town...I get away with it...shhh...) so it's not like they're doing that to get me to speed it up. Are Saab mirrors just located at a bad place for larger vehicles? I'm really curious. I don't want to annoy or irritate the person behind me, but I don't know what the flicking highbeams are for!! ??
