Go and read up on this profession and see if you like this kind of work. If so, go to a school that grants actuarial degrees and take two or more actuarial exams before you get out. Having an actuarial degree is much more marketable than having a math degree.
Actuaries are not as hot as the then IT field but there is a steady demand for such professionals.
