I think you will find that what comes from this is how you deal with tire shops in the future. You'll probably never get them to admit to anything nor get them to compensate you for your losses. I tried to convince them that they lost a center cap on one wheel one time. They politely went through their standard procedure BS with me, so I dropped it. At least they were polite.
Here's how I now handle tire places:
I remove all center caps amd lug nut covers prior to giving them my car. I note to them that there are no dings in the rims. I stick a small piece of Blue Duct Tape on the two front rims to ensure that they are moved to the back when rotated. I tell them up front that I want 36psi in the tires. The I stay there and watch. There are shope around in which they graciously say, go shop for a while and come back in 45 minutes. I stay. Upon return, while I put the center caps and lug nut covers back on in their parking lot, I check tire pressure so I can leave there with exactly what I want. The last time I was in, I did the routine but skipped the tire pressure check. They ensured me they were set to 36. Checked them at home. They were set to 32. Best bet is keep them honest and don't leave their shop until you have done so. We live and learn. This is why most people here do their own oil changes as well.
