cars with overly tinted windows. Some have lost friends and coworkers because of highly tinted windows and an officers inability to see inside the car. One such incident occured in Milford, CT in the 80's when an officer approaching the car could not see the occupant with a drawn weapon which was pointed at the officer. The officer was killed. Cops I knew were strong advocates of newer laws regarding tinting passenger vehicle windows. Some are very aggressive in enforcing such laws because of their personal experiences.
If the local PA officer saw you in PA with the tnted glass then I believe he could follow you into NY and ticket you. I would sugget learning what the law is and comply with regardless of who did what when.
