As for other schools, VA Tech has a good reputation for Aero, as does GA Tech. My son is an out of state Mechanical Engineering student at GA Tech, and he pays about half of what you do for a year (tuition, housing, etc.) He also works his tail off since it is not easy. Ditto for my relatives at VA Tech. Both are strong engineering schools and do well in Aero. Virginia and Atlanta seem to be a good places for Saabs too!
