I don't think you need an aero degree to work in the field. I have a few friends who majored in electrical and mechanical engineering who work for some large aero & space companies. If you're looking for a good undergraduate engineering program, take a look at Bucknell Univ. in Lewisburg, PA. I was a business major at Bucknell, but I know they have a really good program.
