Ok then. I'm the boyfriend. The first thing is that the Volvo would not be an unknown quantity. I guess at the time Annie posted we weren't sure if we'd get it but I'm taking BACK possession of a 91 740 turbo wagon (auto unfortunately) from my sister which has been in the family since new. My family has four rwd Volvos, all of which have been ultra-reliable. The oldest, a '88 740t just hit 320k miles. Parts for the 740s are not particularly expensive, especially when compared with some things on Annie's Aero ($300 or so for a rebuilt throttle body that then needs to be calibrated? I just go to the pick and pull or ebay). But whatever, I don't want to get into any Volvo vs. Saab discussions. They're both great cars. The idea was just to consolidate and save some cash but if the Aero is worth so little I think she should probably keep it. And yes, even though it's fwd I love driving it, except in snow cause the &^%^%$ TCS pretty much ruins the fun.
