These numbers are the 250 hp and 350 Nm -- two nice and round figures. They are without a doubt limited by the ECU programming, not by the physical capabilities of the engine. Apparently, Saab believes this is the reasonable limit for FWD cars and does not want to deviate from this position to satisfy the marketing department. With the introduction of AWD we should see more power.
