Taking a longitudinal mounted boxer with all wheel drive transaxle and mounting it in a Saab designed for transverse mounting and front wheel drive is not a trivial exercise (never mind the mating the totally different engine electronics to the Saab's on-board computer). I am not sure that a boxer would fit longitudinally in a Saab (even with revised engine mounting points and an entirely new sub-assembly for the transmission), since the Subaru motor is likely way longer, than the transverse-mounted Saab engines are wide
This Subaru-Saab surgery would be much worse than an just about any engine transplant where at least the engines would mounted in the same direction to start with in their individual applications.
