I'd be a little leary of the Biopace chainring as I've heard that it can cause knee problems. I have also heard the opposite. If you have Shimano like you said; you should be able to pick up a 105 chainring for cheap at nashbar or performance bike just in case.
Congratulations. Those older steel Bianchis are a sweet ride and a definite keeper. If you get serious then it will be time to look into newer technology but I love my steel Bianchi.
ps. You'll need shoes and pedals and most likely a better seat.
