Thank you all for the information you have provided. I think I am going to speak with a realtor to get a market analysis. I will then get a list of recently sold homes in my area to show the appraiser the value of my home is now more than 25% higher than I paid for it. I am sure it won't be a problem since I have already found 23 properties in my area that have all sold for more than 30% of what I purchased my home for. I figure once I have proof and I can show the bank that I know what the value is, the bank should not be able to minipulate the value of my home. I just want to have some fire power when I speak with the appaiser about the value of my home and eliminating the PMI.
