that the guy estimated it using markers, 170 feet in two seconds is a lot for the relative margin of error. 10 percent error in his measurement yields 52.7 to 64.4 mph. And that assumes a 0.2 second margin of error and perfect 170 foot markers. Especially since the cop wasn't there but for a few seconds -- how does the cop know his car and the other car were at exactly the same speed? I personally think it's a BS ticket.
