btw; those other brakes were comparing to are Brembo 4 piston fixed calipers (at least on the Volvo). Just looking at the Turbo X photos, it doesn't look like a performance multi-piston caliper... looks like a floater. They just snookered ya with big numbers...

It's a complaint with the Viggen. Floating single piston calipers are sort of the worst you can get. The clamps flex and pressure isn't equal across the pads or disk versus opposing pistons on each side of the disk. Anyone else ever notice most the wear on a Viggen disk is the outside face? Cheap solution that worked, but by no means the best way to go about it.
