I'm not trying to blame the factory workers, I feel sort of bad for the position they're in (although with what they have been being paid I'm sure they are pretty well-off). I'm blaming GM for, like you said, signing into all those high pay rates and crazy benefits. I think their salaries and benefits packages should more accurately reflect their actual skills. I mean, most of them probably just pop fasteners into dashboards all day. Why do you need to pay top-dollar for that? Huh, GM? GM assembly line workers average $73 an hour while Toyota workers IN THE US make $48.

Another thing GM needs to STOP DOING if it's reading this is BADGE ENGINEERING!! You know why you're not selling many Trailblazers, GM? It's because you have a GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender, Buick Rainier, Saab 9-7x, Oldsmobile Bravada, and Trailblazer all for sale at the same time. And guess what!? My grandmother can tell they are all IDENTICAL you morons!! I know, I know, they have some differences but geez, if you consolidated them a bit, maybe to ONE line, more of THOSE would sell and your numbers might look a little better? Maybe? Eh? Okay, thanks, bye.
