The biz world mostly works off Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, and they run fine on Mac and Windows. The few issues that do come up are minor and very occasional. My clients are almost all huge companies and they all run Windows. There is never a file issue. If you have to work in Windows you can run one of the programs that lets that happen. I just don't happen to need to do this.
I've used PCs since 1984, but I've only bought Macs. I haven't had virus software on any of them in years, and I'm online all day long, files coming from lots of sources. To be honest, I never even think about viruses. They can happen, but it's pretty rare.
It's not just that Macs are easy to use, it's that they just plain work. I run my biz off my MacBook Pro. It's on 10+ hours a day, does 60K miles of travel. Writing, spreadsheets, video editing, Photoshop, graphic design, PowerPoint/Keynote, etc. I upgrade every 2-3 years, then the old one goes to my wife or one of the kids. And they use it for 2-3 years. My wife's is 4. My #2 kid is using one that's almost 6 years old. The only repair it's ever needed was because I dropped it on pavement and screwed up the power plug.
I'm (most definitely) a Mac.
