Something like 26 to 132 is more like 5 fold not 20 fold and just like Audi in the 80's a little publicity and everyone was having the problem.

Same with every conspiracy theory which is what the gremlin theory is, a conspiracy theory. Despite credible evidence to the contrary "everyone seems to know" that there's a problem. Like paranormal activity or assassinations, the possibility of something weird is just too enticing to give up. That and a bunch of lawyers are gonna' keep the gremlins alive indefinitely.
