I am pretty careful about breaking in a new engine for the first couple thousand miles. On the other hand, I know how people test drive cars. When I buy a new car I deliverately want as low mileage as possible because I am paranoid about wear and tear from aggressive driving on a new engine.
But I know very little about cars, and I'm paranoid, so what do I know?
On the other hand, you're the customer, and the customer is always right.
