I posted this a ways back but maybe worth another read for a laugh

A few yrs back I drove to WNY and had the TB crap out - I think the mileage was around 28k or less. There were some hassles involved finding a competent dealer in the WNY area who had a TB in stock, but it led to one of my more humorous incident with a Saab - while in the shop in Kenmore NY getting the TB replace and making small talk with the service mgr I asked him why the TB would fail with such low miles.
He stated that "they see few failures and will last a long time unless you put cheap gas like reservation gas in your car" ( there is a Seneca Indian reservation in the area - tax free gas). The ironic things is that I stay right near the Seneca Indian reservation and while there do use their gas, lol.
He was obviously very well versed in root cause and failure analysis and I've never since dared to use cheap reservation gas !
