With a "typical" gas-furnace, DX cooling coil split-system, you use a multi-tap blower motor. The cooling uses a higher fan speed than heating. [note: don't confuse with an ECM variable-speed motor, which are used on high-end systems].
So your ductwork should already be sized for the cooling cfm.
I know that air-to-air heat pumps couldn't produce higher temp's, don't know about geoexchange (that's news to me, hadn't heard that nomenclature).
Heating cfm's vs. cooling cfm's are going to vary dependent upon the taps selected and system configuration, but I might assume that the "typical" system has the htg at 80% of the cooling.
So... if you DO need to bump up the heat pump htg cfm, you COULD go 25% higher than current cfm's without any ductwork changes.
