OMG! I couldn't repair it as fast as it fell apart.
But it was kind of a fun little devil to drive around and you could feel the Italian genes in it.

One episode, the rubber bracket securing the shifter linkage from stick to gearbox broke under the floor board (kind of looked like the 91-93 900 shifter joint)so the whole gear shifter drops down starting to scrape the asphalt. I had to drive the car while holding up the gear shifter with my hand.

One time I went to the local junkyard to get new front calipers and there it was 3 (three) 600 in better shape than mine sitting waiting for the scrapper and I asked if I couldn't buy the whole car from him but he said no.
In Sweden when they are junked, they really are junked and not like here in CA where you can bring them back on the road with a salvage title.

So he told me the story that the cars were deemed so bad that all Saab dealers had been advised to as soon as they traded one in, they send it straight to the junkyard not reselling it again so that they could slowly purge them out of circulation and forget.
