Seems to me they had some coverage on the MGA in the past year or so.
Another guy and I run the antique car section of our local 4th of July parade. He used to have an MGA and is kinda looking for another, but admits that they are not the best of the MGs. Part of his concern is that he doesn't know if he's up to the care and feeding.
As you know, the biggie on any '60s/'70s sports car is rust, closely followed by a past of hamfisted, indifferent, or inept maintenance. Good examples are hard to find, unless they have been restored by someone who knows what they are doing. But sometimes you find one that has had some good owners and a decent life. And those deserve a good home.
My own tastes run to doing a rolling (and powered up) resto on an MGB but when I think about welding in new floors, rewiring it, dealing with rust, etc., and that the end result is still a fragile, sunny-day-only car, I think there has to be an alternative. And then I think about a C900 'vert.
A C900 'vert is NOT a modern car but they are still great drivers and they feel pretty unique. And are a lot more solid. And the value of them will creep up over time.
