We just spent eight, 10-hour days in the Buick Encore and was pleasantly surprised how well it handled and how comfortable it was spending that much in the saddle. I spent similar time in the 9-5 but found the footwell area a little cramped. The seat were great even spending most of 24 hours including a nap.
The handling the Eencore is what really impressed me as cell phones, sun glasses, and anything else not bolted down were flying through the high speed sweeping turns. Enough brakes to send passenger's forward onto their seat belts even at the bottom of a big hill. Fuel economy was 34 mpg for the trip which consisted of 1/3 highway and allot of AC time. I regularly see just under 40 mpg on the daily commute of 118 miles but others have seen similar results and FWD owners seeing even better than AWD. Most of us on the BuickForums only have 3,000 miles so they are not fully broken yet.
