Most of us have or will at some point have to move on in terms of cars we use as daily drivers. And with out a doubt we'll find ourselves driving car brands we would have never considered in a million years. You've obviously embraced Buick as The Way with great gusto, maybe a little too much. I'm not sure if you're trying to convince us or yourself. Saabs have never been about 0-60 times or quarter miles time, skid pad numbers or other measurements. The much vaunted C900 SPG had a 0-60 time by the factory of 9 seconds. It's the way Saabs do things, their personality, how they feel, how they look, how they work, how they're built and a whole lot of intangible things that made most of us Saab drivers in the first place. And I don't even disagree with you about Buicks--they have what appears to be a very fine line of cars across the board, some of which I would give serious consideration to. The Encore looks to be a fine car, but no matter how long and how loud you shout it (and you've been pretty loud of late), it's no Saab 9-5, sorry.
