Never been a CUV type and really don't mini van like my parents choose to drive. The minivans drive ok and are the best bargain for hauling enclosed for the price.
But the Encore has knocked my socks off as I just leased it for AWD and the joy of turbo torque. To my surprise it has as much torque and acceleration as the OG9-5 and the results show it handles better than all Saabs up to 9-3 Turbo X and 9-5 Aero. The new Buicks ride nice and handle like Buicks never have in the past. The price point, especially compared to MSRP for Saab of late, is truly a bargain and should not be over looked when shopping for a replacement for the old, trusty Swede. Granted it is no exact replacement as we all know no one has created the perfect car for us to purchase, but the Encore at ever metric offers nothing that I wouldn't change on a turbo Saab. I always tweak them for more power with an updated ECU and that's it.
