I am continuing to closely watch EV developments but at the present time their range is too short and charge time too long.

Maybe post-retirement we can have one fuel burner for the long drives requiring refueling within 5-10 minutes, and one EV for the more frequent short drives with nightly at-home recharging. For now we still need two vehicles of the first description.
