Nobody has found any error - the person - Rathke made a serious error which was dispatched immediately. The theory people don't know the experimental proof, and the experimentalists don't seem to care about theory. Its almost comic.

All the rejoinders come from the underlying premise that nobody can dispute a bad theory which was confounding to the very people who invented it.

The talk of double slit mysticism and interpretations of QM comes from the wrong paradigm - this serves no utility anymore.

I suggest you read Brett's book - it was written for scientists. Again, I suggest you read Brett's book. Very serious and studied scientists say he did a great job as it summarizes hundreds of articles on the subject and it is a masterful work in putting in context you can understand it. Despite this, physicists get very uncomfortable buying the book thinking they are subscribing to an elaborate scam. Again, comic and serious introspection is needed.
