as you and ME (I went to UMASS though) He and I both looked for work here in MA. Nothin'! Ended up working with no Benefits as consultants for a large but private Investments Company.
I look for jobs everyday, but most the time experience (1-3 year) is required for positions that have any intellect as a pre-requisite. I don't recommend going for Financial Advisor or other "jobs" like that. These positions usually involve lotsa cold calling to get clients for someone else. Ohh yeah there is no pay after 6 months, they ween you off slowing, while you are getting clients and collecting a whopping 3% of your book's value.
The point is, take what you can get, and if you have a choice, do what you can stand. Experience is experience! I sat on my ass looking for the perfect job for 3 months after graduating, the only thing I ended up with is a shitty job AND credit card debt.
Best Regards
Roman
