Yeah, one more year of work........... After that the annual miles will likely plummet to near 8K per year. I currently drive over 22K per year on my daily driver. My wife's daily driver just crossed 100K last week, mine crossed 190K last night.
But we will be making multiple 500 mile round trips each year to Pittsburgh since all the kids will be living there within a few months. Six trips annually is another 3K miles.
I thought the 10 year parts availability was only a requirement to PLAN for 10 years of parts availability, not a law stating the manufacturer MUST maintain parts for 10 years?
I do not like or trust GM, but I may be forced to strongly consider a Tour-X due to family pressures. (a financially struggling B-I-L is a GM salesperson, buying a Tour-X through him would be be cheaper in the long run than direct financial assistance, and would avoid the constant complaints from all other family members if I bought a Volvo.)
