Which lots of people are doing with Saab 9000s without any problems. Like I said, driving like that is pretty normal in parts of Europe. On the autobahn I've done it *many* times without any issues. There are also people racing Saab 9000s in their spare time who haven't experienced anything like that.

Besides, in 1986 a couple of 9000 turbos ran around an oval racing track at WOT continuosly for 20 days, only pausing for fuel stops, driver changes and standard service. That's more pedal to the metal, high speed, max load torture than both your cars would experience during their lifetime. And the engines in your cars should be even more robust than those in the early 9000s.
